This Calculator uses commonly used retracement levels, specifically levels used on eSignal and other popular trading platforms.
Simple Instructions:
If retracing downtrend, put low price into VALUE 1 and high price into VALUE 2
If retracing uptrend, put low price into VALUE 2 and high price into VALUE 1
Example:
USD/JPY in uptrend. Price increases from a low of 114.58 in October,2005 to a high price in December,2005 of 121.39. I want to find the fibonacci retracement values from this high of 121.39. Enter 114.58 into VALUE 2 and enter 121.39 into VALUE 1
The program outputs possible support levels from the 121.39 high. The first area of support may be the 25% level of 119.69. The second area of support may be the 38.2% level of 118.79...
